A public meeting of the Board of Directors of the Ash Creek Water Control District, Polk County, State of Oregon, will be held at Indy Commons, 164 S Main Street, Independence. The meeting will take place on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 6:30 pm. The purpose of the meeting is to consider the biennial budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2028 as approved by the Ash Creek Water Control District Budget Committee. To appear by telephone or other electronic means, contact Marilyn Morton at DistSec@AshCreekWCD.com no later than Noon, June 4, 2026.
This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Board of Directors will take place. A copy of the budget may be inspected on or after June 5, 2026 on the District’s website.

1. Roll Call
2. Discuss -Last budget meeting forgot to approved imposing and catagorizing of the tax.
- The budget that will be presented is the current balanced document (please see attached). It shows all the increases and actuals. We will need to approve this version, then vote on sending the resolution to the full board.
- This should only take 10 minutes, we already did the number crunching, this is procedural.
“I move that the ACWCD Budget Committee approve the 2026-2028 Budget as presented for adoption by the ACWCD Board of Directors at its June 4, 2026 Budget Hearing.”
“ I move that the ACWC Budget Committee approves the tax rate at $.1069 per $1000”
