SDIS Sexual Misconduct Liability Coverage – Important Deadline

For the 2027 renewal, SDIS has established the following requirements:

• Applications submitted before January 1, 2027: Eligible for Sexual Misconduct Liability Coverage limits equal to the District's General Liability limits of $5 million or $10 million.
• Applications submitted on or after January 1, 2027: The maximum available Sexual Misconduct Liability Coverage limit will be reduced to $1 million.
• No completed application: The District will not be eligible for the Sexual Misconduct Liability Coverage Endorsement.

For 2027, SDIS is requiring completion of the application to evaluate each District's existing sexual misconduct prevention practices and identify potential risk management needs. Additional risk management requirements may be implemented in future renewal years.

SDIS Cyber Liability Coverage – 2027 Renewal

SDIS will continue offering Cyber Liability Coverage to Trust members at no additional charge, subject to the completion and submission of the required Cyber Coverage Application.

The available coverage limits remain:

• First-Party Cyber Coverage: $50,000
• Third-Party Cyber Liability Coverage: $100,000
• Pool-Wide Annual Aggregate: $1,500,000 for all claims combined.
